Office hours are 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am-3pm Fridays.
Closed weekends and major holidays.
Appointments only, please no walk-ins at this time.
After-hours care
If you feel your child is having a life threatening emergency, you should call 911. Dr. Johnston is available after hours to address non-emergent needs by calling the office and leaving a message. You will receive a reply via call or text in a timely manner based on medical necessity . For less urgent concerns such as scheduling appointments, medication refills, form completion, referrals, etc. please call during office hours or expect a return reply in 48-72 hours.
Insurances Accepted
We are in network with most major insurance carriers, however, we strongly recommend you confirm that Angel Oak Pediatrics is in network with your insurance plan prior to scheduling. Denied claims because of out of network status are pateint/family responsibility.

Self pay rates are available at $140 for a sick visit and $200 for a Well Check. Labs/tests and vaccines are an additional cost. Please call if you need to discuss a payment plan.
Vaccine Policy
We at Angel Oak Pediatrics firmly believe in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and save lives. We also firmly believe in the safety of vaccines and recommend all children and young adults be vaccinated according to the schedule as published by the American Academy of Pediatrics.
We are more than willing to discuss any questions you may have about vaccines, but do require all new patients to our practice to adhere to the vaccination schedule endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) which is available on this website under the Services -> Well Child Schedule. If your child is behind, we will work with you on a catch-up schedule. Please see the following resources for more information:
